More Hamfests
There are more hamfest emails in my box every day. Each one looks good but made fancy to catch peoples eyes. If you want me to post it then the best thing is to just attach a simple jpeg and I'll take it from there. Also, if your holding more than one in the year let me know so that I can change dates and not just delete the page.

Also, a little reality people.... I work hard on my sites. If I post something for you please at least post a link to my site. I will in turn make sure your well advertised here or one of my other sites.

Hamfest . Auction Season Again
Well it's that time of the year again... Hamfests and Auctions every other week. I will post what you send me but I have a few other rules too.

    a) Don't just send me about Hamfests & Auctions. Send me Estate Sales, Flea Markets, Tag Sales, etc...

One men's Junk is anothers treasure!

     B) If you went last year and it stunk, that does not mean it will this year. Someone looking for an item will hit every one till they find it.

     C) Send it to me early enough. If I add up all the emails I get from all of my personal accounts (not including my Yahoo Groups), It's over 200 a day. If you send it on Thursday for an event on Sunday, I won't bother posting it.

Now to start the Season Carol and I attended the BARA Auction. This Saturday, April 10th is The Pancake & Sausage Breakfast / Auction. This is run by our good friend Gordon, W2TTT. Carol and I will be there.

Sunday, April 11th is the Splitrock (SARA) event in NJ. We want to go but also have the YARC meeting that morning and being a member of the board it's just right that I attend. If we can get to SARA early and run through quickly, I could still make the YARC meeting. If I have to choose, MY club comes first.

Also, if you want your event photoghaphed and placed on one of my web pages for others to see what it's like for next time. Just send a Free Admission note to us at
KA2FBL@LIVE.COM Freebie or not We'll probibly go. But to lug a camera around and sit at the computer creating a web page deserves a free invite.

In the future I'll set up a swap section of the site and place Free ad's for radio equiptment for sale. One rumor about selling amps or Ham Equiptment to CB'ers, or a constant flow of complaints and I will have to stop posting listings for you. It's just "Treat others as you want to be treated".

Have a Joyous Passover and a Happy Easter!

Carol and I do not place ANY paid ads on our sites. We do however love outstanding retailers that give extra special service.Carol Maher of the Fox Tango Group and Certified Electronics fits this location perfectly. We have received a great price on repairing the FT-757GX as well as a SUPER STEAL on the Yaesu FT-8900 .

We have a new Yaesu FT-101E. Carol insisted that we not send it down to Certified for repair. Instead Carol ealked us through the steps we needed to get it running. The Yonkers PAL Ham Radio Club now has a  101with a 150 watt output on most bands! Can't wait for the beam!!!

Thanks to Carol Maher of Certified Electronics,

a true PAL of the Yonkers PAL !

If you do call Fox Tango tell them you saw this on KA2FBL Mike Rapp's site. We are sure that you will be very impressed with the old fashioned values and customer service that they will provide. "Word of Mouth" is a powerful  tool. Don't forget to tell your friends.
